I learned not to be silenced – in meetings or in life i learned from watching the other women on my team having an all-female team was a multiplier of bcg’s apprenticeship model for me i learned styles of effectiveness and confidence that i could actually try on. Coming into my internship, i was extremely nervous and intimidated it was all so new to me compared to my colleagues, who all have years of experience despite this, i’ve learned not to be afraid and to use their knowledge and experience to my advantage by speaking up and asking for help when i need it the team is here to help and make sure you’re headed in the right direction.

Throughout my time working here, i learned about the strategy, artifacts, and processes of building a beautiful, user-focused, responsive website i attended both internal and client project meetings, worked directly with the designers and developers, and built an understanding of design systems and the best practices for coding. My department just wrapped up a team retreat our company's fiscal year end was april 30, so the objective of this retreat was to reflect on the year that just ended and also identify key strategies for the upcoming year.
My first week with them i learned about each team member, what they do, how they operate their departments, and who they are they did not need someone barking orders or pointing out their flaws instead, they needed someone who can guide them, motivate them, encourage them, and mentor them.
